E Pluribus Unum – From Many One…. real diversity and inclusion…

[This is now going to be my, every B4IN article, standard opening (as of Dec. 19, 2024):
I get it, I really do, all these outlets are operating as a business… And how do they make money? Advertising! (more continues: /media/2024/07/click-bait-here-click-bait-there-everywhere-click-bait-2515961.html )
Yes, sorry, frankly I TOO find especially the initial Ads (they pile up, to be able to get them viewed in case someone doesn't read the whole article) here interrupting a nice/natural Read flow and are ANNOYING (but it keeps the Site FREE FOR VIEWING no Pay Wall to have to BUY your way past) and conversely their annoyance may indeed keep some from wanting to bother (so, Please, there is some GREAT CONTENT here on B4IN, keep reading the entire pieces despite the annoying Ads) and note if you engage an AD BLOCKER often I have found it/they can cause issues with seeing all the intended article content --- don't want you to miss any of mine, nor anyone else who posts here entire content as intended! The authors images (some or all), videos (some or all), their intended cross-reference links (vs Site produced Ad links, the easy Share-At/On buttons, and more, might also get "blocked" from viewing. And so now, to catch any NEW Readers, I too adding to annoyance having to repeat this over and over. My apologies. I endeavor to always give you DETAILED WRITINGS (and cross-reference related links with other rabbit-holes you can go down) hopefully you'll deem worthy of putting up with the annoying Ads to engage in/with.
I am NOT fond of the changes, but I have been with B4IN a long time now - certainly not looking to leave.

E Pluribus Unum – From Many One… real diversity and inclusion…

.

In this episode of the ChristiTutionalist Politics podcast, host Joseph M. Lenard explores the concept of ‘E Pluribus Unum’, the Latin motto of the United States meaning ‘From Many, One’. He critiques contemporary interpretations of diversity and inclusion, arguing that these concepts have been distorted by the political Left to create division (segregation, separation) rather than unity. Lenard emphasizes the original American ideal of a melting pot where diverse cultures blend to create a unique national identity.

Lenard delves into historical context by discussing the Mayflower Compact and William Bradford’s early colonial governance. He explains how the initial communal approach failed, leading Bradford to shift towards principles of individual rights, personal property ownership, and personal responsibility. This historical lesson serves as a critique of collectivist ideologies and supports his argument for individual freedom and accountability.

The podcast also touches on current political discourse, specifically criticizing Hakeem Jeffries’ statements about Social Security and Medicare. Lenard argues that these are true entitlement programs, funded directly by special taxpayer (FICA) contributions, and should not be conflated with welfare or Medicaid.

He concludes by encouraging listeners to use ‘E Pluribus Unum’ as a counter-argument to divisive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) rhetoric (aka: DIE, cuz what it really is about is killing / destroying / eliminating Western Culture), positioning it as a more authentic representation of American unity and values.

KEY TAKEAWAYS:.

.

E Pluribus Unum (‘From Many, One’) represents the true American ideal of cultural integration, in contrast to modern Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) approaches that Lenard argues promote division

The Plymouth Colony’s early experiment with communal living failed, demonstrating that personal property ownership and individual responsibility are more effective economic models than collective resource sharing

Social Security and Medicare are legally defined ‘entitlements’ because citizens pay into the (FICA) system and are contractually guaranteed benefits, unlike welfare programs which are funded from general tax revenues

The modern Left’s approach to diversity and inclusion often creates segregation instead of true cultural unity, undermining the core American principle of E Pluribus Unum

Historical education is being selectively edited to hide important lessons, such as early American colonies’ failed socialist experiments and the importance of individual rights

Cultural exchange and borrowing are not ‘cultural appropriation’ but part of how diverse cultures naturally blend in the American melting pot

Political rhetoric from leaders like Hakeem Jeffries often mischaracterizes government programs and their legal foundations to advance specific ideological narratives

In this week’s S2EFebSpecial3 episode of the ChristiTutionalist (TM) Politics podcast…

In this powerful exploration of American cultural identity, the ChristiTutionalist Politics podcast delves deep into the transformative concept of ‘E Pluribus Unum’ – a principle far more nuanced than contemporary diversity rhetoric suggests. Host Joseph M. Lenard passionately argues that America’s strength emerges not from superficial demographic categorizations, but from a genuine cultural integration that respects individual heritage while creating a cohesive national identity.

The episode traces a fascinating historical arc back to the Bradford Colony, revealing how early American settlers learned critical lessons about economic sustainability through personal experience. Lenard highlights how the initial communal ‘Mayflower Compact’ – which mandated equal distribution regardless of individual contribution – nearly led to collective starvation, ultimately compelling leaders to embrace individual property rights and personal responsibility.

Challenging contemporary progressive ideologies, the podcast dissects the fundamental difference between genuine inclusivity and what Leonard characterizes as divisive ‘Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion’ practices. By returning to the constitutional principle of ‘E Pluribus Unum’, he argues for a vision of American unity that transcends modern tribalistic political narratives, emphasizing shared values over sectarian distinctions.

Lenard’s analysis extends to critical examinations of governmental systems, challenging listeners to understand the nuanced legal distinctions between true ‘entitlement’ programs like Social Security and welfare initiatives. His argument suggests that misunderstanding these structural differences perpetuates misguided policy approaches that compromise long-term systemic integrity.

The discussion provocatively reframes ‘cultural appropriation’ debates, suggesting that borrowing and celebrating diverse cultural expressions represents not exploitation, but a genuine mechanism of national integration. By presenting cultural exchange as a dynamic, respectful process, the podcast challenges simplistic narratives that view cultural interactions through a purely antagonistic lens.

Tracing intellectual lineages from early colonial experiments to contemporary political discourse, the episode demonstrates how foundational principles of individual liberty and collective responsibility have consistently shaped American progress. Lenard argues that understanding this historical continuity is crucial for confronting current political challenges.

Critically examining language itself as a battleground of ideological conflict, the podcast reveals how terminology like ‘diversity’ and ‘inclusion’ can be weaponized to achieve precisely the opposite of their ostensible goals. The nuanced critique suggests that true cultural strength emerges not from mandated categorizations, but from organic, voluntary cultural exchange.

The discussion transcends mere political commentary, offering a philosophical meditation on human nature, economic incentives, and the delicate balance between individual achievement and collective well-being. By drawing from historical examples and contemporary observations, Leonard provides a compelling framework for understanding societal dynamics.

Challenging listeners to move beyond superficial political tribalism, the episode advocates for a more sophisticated understanding of American identity – one rooted in shared principles rather than demographic characteristics. The podcast emerges as a powerful call for intellectual honesty and nuanced cultural dialogue.

Ultimately, ‘E Pluribus Unum’ represents more than a historical motto; it becomes a living philosophy of cultural integration, individual empowerment, and collective aspiration. Joseph M. Lenard’s ChristiTutionalist Politics podcast continues to offer listeners a provocative, intellectually rigorous alternative to mainstream political discourse.
